In Memoriam: Advocate & Doctor R. N. Dutta
Brigadier Dr. R. N. Dutta passed away February 2, 2010. His passing in Kolkata, India presented an immeasurable loss to our community of CML advocates, patients and survivors. The Max Foundation remembers Dr. Dutta for his compassion and his outstanding service.

Angelic Intervention
Oscar is 27 years old. We met Oscar three years ago. He had made the decision to leave his home in Honduras to travel to the U.S., where his brothers live, looking for a better life. With Love in Every Stitch
The Max Foundation values volunteerism. It is important to us to create opportunities for communities to help each other. This year we launched a new project in the U.S. called, “With Love in Every Stitch.” For three months, volunteers from around the country lovingly knit hats for children undergoing chemotherapy in Russia. To our surprise, donations poured in at our offices, and we exceeded our goal of 50 hats by collecting over 150 hats!
