Access to novel cancer treatments no matter where you are is critical to improving
your life and those of fellow survivors worldwide. There are various paths to treatment
access, such as through local government programs, clinical trials, or through Patient
Assistance Programs (PAPs), also known as a drug access programs.
Since 2001, The Max Foundation has partnered in the administration of Novartis’
Glivec International Patient Assistance Program (GIPAP), an unparalleled drug access
program for Glivec. This year, The Max Foundation has begun supporting the administration
of other Novartis access programs. In addition to helping guide you and your physician
through the enrollment process, The Max Foundation provides program beneficiaries
with additional free services of emotional support, informational referrals and
advocacy.
